Today, Nikon introduced a new Nikkor Z 135 mm f/1.8 S medium telephoto lens with the name Plena. It is derived from the Latin word pleno, meaning completely or perfectly. The optical design of the lens and the aperture, consisting of eleven rounded blades, create a noble drawing of the areas outside the depth of field with a circular display of bright points and light sources. The new Nikkor Plena will be available in stores from mid-October 2023. The retail price is approximately $2500 (no VAT) or 3000 € incl. VAT 19% (Germany).
