When the railway repair shops were moved from Chomutov to Louny, exceptional spaces were freed up in the area of the Chomutov railway station. It consisted of two large rotundas and adjacent sidings. After the necessary modifications, the Railway depository of the National Technical Museum found a home here. Almost 100 rail vehicles are protected and gradually reconstructed here. Steam, diesel, diesel-electric and electric locomotives, passenger and freight wagons, train cars, snowblowers, signals, two-wheelers, ... Each exhibit has a board with detailed information in Czech, German and English.
